Carefully pull/push the braid/bolt combo into the hose, past the end of the copper, so the end of the hose fits the smooth shank of the bolt.
The inside diameter of the hose is slightly smaller than to outside diameter of the bolt braid combo, so it's a bit of a tight fit. But this is good! The tight vinyl contraction keeps the copper braid firmly pressed against the bolt threads, without solder! (you can see the vinyl "bulge" over the copper).
Seal the end of the hose so electrolyte can't seep in. "Mask-it" to the rescue again!
