On the left is the original bushing removed from the transmission
levers during rebuild.
On the right is an NOS replacement.
They are clearly different, but both may still be Willys original.
One for assembly line, and one for routine maintenance? Who knows.
In the dimension below, the original bushing has a groove
diameter of 11/16", but the shift lever hole is 3/4",
so this bushing is loose in the hole, probably due to 50+ years
of wear.
The NOS replacement bushing is larger than the lever hole,
so it will be a tight fit.
