Willys made a few changes to their soft top over the years. One big change was in the lower door hinge. As a consequence, the doors are not interchangeable. The change occured at vehicle S/N 114949.

The earlier lower door hinge socket fit right atop the tub lip, and actually protruded upward into the tub side cutout where you climb in & out. So the lower hinge pin, on the door frame itself, was welded higher on the door frame. This is the earlier socket:

The later lower door hinge socket hung over the outer side of the tub lip, becoming more or less flush with the tub lip, so nothing protruded upward to catch your leg on. The door hinge pin would be mounted lower on the door frame for this type socket. This is the later socket:
