The 1/4" walnut plywood, and 3/4" solid walnut corners. The walnut ply was cut and attached so that the boxes would be mirror image units.

2 solid edge pieces, glued, and held in place by rubber bungie tiedowns. Urethane powder glue was used for this operation. The 2x4 & padded ply platform was purpose built to allow attaching the exterior pieces without scratching them. |
